#01 - Greed is out, empathy is in

Internationale selectie Graphic Design Festival 2012

Inspired by the changing society GDFB invited various international designers to design a poster based on the proposition 'Greed is out, empathy is in'. This quote from biologist Frans de Waal challenges people to social involvement on a large scale and / or conscious choices on a small scale. The exhibition provides a wide variety of visual statements and shows how contemporary designers use creativity to visualize the current zeitgeist.

The selection holds a number of posters enabling physical interaction with passers-by, including the startling poster by Breda based designer Etienne van Mil that provokes the feeling of greed with 5 and 10 cent coins.
